Course Highlights
First Experience As an Industrial Designer
Children will get hands-on experience with an array of cutting-edge engineering equipment and software, including 3D printing, laser cutting, 3D modeling, CAD/CAM software drafting, robot programming, and operating machinery like large cutters, drills, slotting machines, and sanders. Moreover, they’ll have the opportunity to explore the entire industrial design process, from sparking creativity and product research to design conception and production. It’s an immersive journey into the world of industrial design!
Solving Real-World Problems Through Collaboration
Driven by real-world challenges, children will approach solutions with empathy, fostering a growth mindset through active reflection. Moreover, they will cultivate excellent communication and teamwork skills by collaborating effectively, delegating tasks sensibly, and brainstorming collectively to overcome obstacles and achieve breakthroughs.
Interdisciplinary Project-based Learning
Integrating art into the design process allows children to personalise their work with creative elements, breaking down the boundaries between mathematics, science, engineering, technology, and art, fostering free expression of creativity. This process not only allows children to deeply experience the joy of interdisciplinary learning, but also further hones the transferable skills highly valued in a holistic education approach—such as creative thinking, logical reasoning and practical problem-solving—thereby enhancing their overall competencies in a well-rounded way.
